Speaker Communities

Speaker communities are an important part of revitalisating a language.  Te Ataarangi is committed to ensuring that the Māori language survives as a living language into the future.  It is important that communities are involved in developing strategies that work for them.  Te Ataarangi is involved with developing the following initiatives:

-  building speaker communities in and around kura

-  working with Whānau, Hapū and Iwi to develop Language Plans
